Two tone garden

I took this photo yesterday around 9am in a back garden near Drogheda. I’d never noticed before how the ground frost only melts when it’s in direct sunlight. We were all a ‘bit’ hungover so it didn’t make that big impression on us at the time.

Spring has arrived!

I took this photo this afternoon in St Ann’s Park on Dublin’s Northside. The photo has been heavily cropped but the flower still looks nice. Hopefully spring is here to stay, although the weather forecast is for severe frost tonight.

I don’t know why I should be surprised. I guess I’ve never thought about it but, when I went to the beach this morning, there was frost on the sand!
