Or swans even! I actually took this photo last Friday near Midleton, Co Cork, but the weather in Dublin today seemed just as bad.

Proof (of sorts) that the sun did shine today in Dublin. This statue was unveiled in 2003 to commemerate Brendan Behan‘s 1953 play, The Quare Fellow. What can I say? It’s a cat stretching early in the morning. Just as we were not impressed by the ground frost in the back garden (see last post), this black cat is obviously a cool cat who’s seen it all before. Or maybe he’s just doing Pilates?
