Disappearing Dublin - Maritime House

I took this photo last June on the North Wall Quay. It’s a statue outside Maritime House and I never took the time to read the inscription because I had the attitude of ‘it’ll always be there and I’ll read it the next time‘.

[edit: It's not] Don’t know if it’s true but, an hour ago at 8pm, Chase me, ladies, I’m in the cavalry reported that Margaret Thatcher has passed away. I can’t see anything on BBC or, ahem, breakingnews.ie. No point in checking RTE as they’ve probably all gone home for the evening.

Saturday Sunshine
