My Calendar Says

I was sitting at my desk one day, bored, when my eyes settled on the calendar on my desk. Usually, the advice or saying seems to mean something but mostly it’s rubbish.

Then I wondered about all the other calendars out there today? Calendars in other countries, other cultures? And that’s why this blog exists. Hopefully it’ll also be a bit of fun.

Two Tits and a Vote is a political action campaign, designed to get women to use their muscle as voters to take action around a single issue at a time. Men are very welcome to take part; the platform is merely aimed at mobilising women.

It’s built around the concept of “armchair activism.” Armchair activism enjoys reasonable take-up online, but is often decried as ultimately being rather useless because it rarely translates into the real world. I started to think a lot about how to merge all of the good stuff about armchair activism – it’s fast, it’s accessible, it’s not a big ask, and it delivers a feel-good factor to the participant – with actions that could actually take form in the real world.

The next approach in my time management saga was to buy patterned socks. It was elegant yet simple. Pairs of socks could be matched even in low light. Hell, I could even match them without my glasses. The major flaw with this approach was that if you lost one of the matching pair, you’d spend ages looking for the other one. So that didn’t work either.

Of course, all this is irrelevant if your girlfriend/wife buys your underwear. I’m single so I don’t have the luxury of a personal assistant

*Alpha male: When people think of an alpha male, they usually think of a Gordon Gekko type who excels and wins at everything. An alpha male to me is entirely different. To me, I’m an alpha male: a protean facsimile of a male who is not fully formed nor fully functioning when I get up early in the morning.

My hair is spikey and pointing in entirely the wrong direction. Out of the side of my mouth, the drool sparkles in the harsh light of the bedroom lightbulb. My eyes can’t focus because of the ‘sleep’ in the corners of my eyes. Some mornings, I scratch my belly. Other days, I scratch my backside. Every morning, words and thoughts are hard to form.

And that’s why I need easily-paired socks.

Speaking of swimming pools, is there nothing more pathetic than a grown man naked except for his socks and underwear/swimming togs?

Add beer paunch and/or hairy back for complete mental horror.

So far, so ok-ish. Then…

The Government is aware in great detail about all this shit thet happened to me and they know the ones thet are doing the shit, they pick and chose who they’re gonna prosecute. They haven’t touched Voight et all, he still drives up and down the streets Just letting me know they don’t do ah thing to him. THET PISSES ME OFF! they know he is getting paid to kill they look the other way.

Ok, not so good…

I was et ah holloween party my ex boyfriend et thet time walked in with his friend(YA), and about an hour n ah half we got engaged : {, The thing is Dorsten told me to tell Voight no don’t do it. Anyway we got into the collision. Voight threw me to the floor board and told me “get down” , then Dorsten bent down to hold me down and got killed instantly.

Now it’s getting scary…

So now, about the photograph. If you look on his fingernails, you can see some of the legacy of that treatment. On each of his fingernails there is a strong white line which is gradually being forced upwards by new, healthy nail beneath.

Underneath that line should be a cancer free man, if the doctors are right.

Some things are best left unsaid so I’ll probably moderate comments if you make one that’s NSFW! This photo was taken in Dublin Zoo at the weekend. It was hilarious to listen to the comments that parents made to each other and the (ever so) slightly different comments that children made to their parents.

Last line #1: Yes, sleeping with Prince Valium makes every morning feel like Sunday morning. The downside is I only have nine left. The comments are very funny as well!

Last line #2: Tomorrow, the government launches massive campaign to find out why people don’t sunbathe in Ireland.
