What can I say? It’s a cat stretching early in the morning. Just as we were not impressed by the ground frost in the back garden (see last post), this black cat is obviously a cool cat who’s seen it all before.
Or maybe he’s just doing Pilates?
Two tone garden
I took this photo yesterday around 9am in a back garden near Drogheda. I’d never noticed before how the ground frost only melts when it’s in direct sunlight. We were all a ‘bit’ hungover so it didn’t make that big impression on us at the time.
Lights out in Drogheda
My informants outside of Dublin tell me that the power in Drogheda has been down for the past two hours and has literally just returned at about 8pm. Everything in the general area has been affected and it’s pitch black in the town. The lights over the Boyne river bridge are gone. [...]
