LE Ciara docking in Dublin
The LE Ciara (P42) docked in Dublin on Thursday and I caught a few photos.
The ship prefix LÉ stands for Long Éireannach, or “Irish ship” as Gaeilge. (source: wiki).
Naval service vessels are all named with traditional Irish female names, taken from history and Celtic mythology.
