Google is scary

It’s half past midnight and I’ve been looking at the latest visitors to this site and some of the reasons why. It’s a bit worrying. I’m not going to include links because I don’t want to encourage some of the visits.

…And this is just today (or yesterday to be precise)

“dlrcoco”
Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council – I’m number 3 behind the official website and their library site…

“Greatest Summer songs ever”
I’m number 4 – wtf – haven’t they seen my last.fm profile?

“author lyrics Live with me Massive attack”
#2 link

“funny epitaphs”
#8 link

“mbna-ireland”
#5 link

(not in my log but…)
“mbna ireland”
#3 link

“man found in kerry hotel room with donkey”
#4 link

And most worrying of all, and I can’t work out how this works, searching for ‘pubic lice‘ (http: //images. google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://static.flickr.com/…(deleted)… gets you here.

It’s that hotel manager, chasing you about paying for the donkey, which you tried to get out of at reception again. ;-)
