librarything You know you’re in trouble when you see this sort of thing in your blog account.

I have a LibraryThing account and I’ve only ever had a dozen or so visits from there to here.
.

And now this!

.

The scary thing is that it looks real; only the XX in XX.librarything dot com changes.

Ironically, my technorati rating has gone from 400k to 200k – maybe now’s a good time to start selling ads here!!

I’ve emailed librarything to alert them. I wonder if I’m the only one affected?

P.S. I’m a happy customer regardless.

[Update: The LibraryThing people responded to my email within hours (kudos to them) and re-assured me it wasn't anything nefarious. The link is from their 'buzz' page and the XX's were country codes. Something I wrote has been quoted there since September 2006 hence the occasional visit as I mentioned already. One of the LibraryThing team did think it was odd to get so many visits in such a short space of time. So, Panic's over, move along now, folks.

And thanks to LibraryThing for responding so quickly.]
