This is so funny I actually cried. It’s so ridiculous, it’s probably true. Even if it’s not, I haven’t laughed so much in weeks.

He was fined €2,000 for bringing the donkey to [his hotel] room under the Unlawful Accommodation of Donkeys Act 1837.

    Hmmm, I tried to post this comment on their website…

    Wow. I laughed so much, I actually cried.

    I’d love to see the defence solicitor’s notes after her first meeting with the defendant.

    “Good morning, Mr Carney, why are you here? Is it drink-driving?”

    “Errr, no, donkey”
