Bad birds

Caitriona.net has posted a very nice photo of a flock of birds. It’s full of movement and, combined with the overcast sky, there’s a hint of menace as the birds fly, fly away on their nefarious tasks. It reminded me of the original (1939!!) Wizard of Oz film.
Being a contrary sort of person, I thought I’d post a slightly contradictory photo of a single bird. It’s a clear blue November sky but there’s menace in the bird’s posture. You could almost imagine that his talons, just visible below his tail feathers, are bomb clusters. He’s loitering with intent, if you will, and somebody’s day is about to be ruined.
