Lights out in Drogheda

My informants outside of Dublin tell me that the power in Drogheda has been down for the past two hours and has literally just returned at about 8pm. Everything in the general area has been affected and it’s pitch black in the town. The lights over the Boyne river bridge are gone. Everything’s down except for the Garda station and… the Dunnes Stores sign outside of the Marsh Road shopping center. Forgot to ask about the hospital.
One informant is particularly annoyed because he had to drive to Ashbourne for his families’ ‘bag of chips‘. The indignity of it all! I think he’s more annoyed that the power returned just as he got to Ashbourne.
It could never happen in Dublin, roight? Youse shouldn’t have bleedin’ left the fair city.
