This RTE news reporter was sent down to South Bull Wall this afternoon to do a colour piece on the bad weather. It was perhaps an odd location as most, if not all, of today’s ferries have been cancelled.
Of course, the real story should have been me.
.
As the sun sets on 2006…
And with some help from my friends…

2007 should be a great year for me as long as I stay out of hot water…

As of lunchtime today, I’ve had 9929 ‘unique visitors‘ to this blog this year. I’m a bit disappointed that it didn’t break 10,000 but maybe it will by the end of today. I’d like to thank cyberscribe and fjl for paying attention to what I say
and commenting regularly. I’d also like to thank irishblogs, the swearing lady, and dublinblogs for telling complete strangers where I live on the internet. Thanks guys!
And, finally, a Happy New Year to everyone! Hopefully, next year will be a bit more peaceful than this one.
(This is a mural on the hoardings of a building site near Croke Park).
And on that sombre note, I’ll say goodbye as I’ve got to prepare the buffet for tonight’s festivities. In plain English, that means I’ve got to clear the fridge of food so there’s enough room for all the beer. Cheers!
(P.S. all photos were taken today except for the anti-war mural)
