Subject: Spare Printer CartridgesHi all
Does any section have an HP Laserjet 12345 colour printer, as we have got a full set of ink cartridges going spare.
Regards
UK Sheila
This email is true! Two people who work for a trans-national company emailed everyone to ask, I still don’t know what…
I’ve read this a dozen times and I’m still a bit confused. I think UK Sheila found a set of printer cartridges in a cupboard. Then Scottish Mary asked everyone if they had a spare printer to go with the cartridges because they could use both?? I’m not going to make any jokes about how Scottish parsimony because Scottish Mary is actually an English architect who just happens to live in Scotland.
I’m sorry for harping on about this but, hours later, my tiny male brain still doesn’t get this. We make millions every year but Scottish Mary wrote to everyone that
-
she didn’t have the printer,
she didn’t have the cartridges
but she would take both…
And what? Sell them down the market on Sunday.
I wish my private jet (who’s who want me!) had a bed so I could lie down and cool my headache!
Another headache is fjl’s recent travails. I was/am supportive of her recent difficulties but her reaction (threats?) leave me a bit uncomfortable about how to support her. I wish my private jet had a dark room so I could think about it some more! In chronological order, here it is… Judge for yourself. If your judgement is harsh, please read her other posts to get some idea of the ‘real’ fjl.

Wonderful news!
More revelations: take the high road
To be honest, I’m concerned that she’s gone from naming named individuals to blaming them (the security services)

On your office chain letter: That’s like something I’d do! I mean, why not? There’s a load of cartridges I can’t use so a cheeky comment sent out there telling the world I could take them if someone gave me the printer too might just work!
Or maybe Scottish Mary is mad. I don’t know.
Isadub, no one is asking you to comment on thigs you don’t understand. Or give support where you can’t, atall. I made no request of you specifically. Try not to interfere if you’re only going to blunder.
Could you remove this post in fact is, it’s uninformed and unhelpful.
Isadub, if you don’t want to remove this post, please update it honestly. Thanks, FJL.
You are a prat who wrote this blog carrying on about things you know nothing about.
Actually anon Is is a very good blogmate. I understand his concerns
